This girl has had some challenges in her life. We're don't know if this is her first litter, but the father of this litter was a Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua mix. Supposedly, she was a stray that the Jack's family took in. When Rugaz Rescue got her, about 25 people were living in three run down houses on the property. The people had almost no money to feed themselves, so the dog was only given leftovers that usually consisted of rice and garlic.
This girl is the sweetest, nurturing mom to her 10 pups. She gives us kisses, sits in our lap, and is always wagging her tail.
In spite of what she has had to overcome, she is a survivor. That's why we decided to name her Heidi.
