On March 3, 2011, a very skinny pit bull gave birth to 11 puppies; one was stillborn. On March 16, 2011, the mom and her pups were rescued by Rugaz Rescue and brought to us. The pups all found their forever homes a couple of months later. Heidi was heartworm positive, and lived with us until mid-2012 when she was adopted by a lady in south Florida.
