On March 3, 2011, a very skinny pit bull gave birth to 11 puppies; one was stillborn. On March 16, the mom and her pups were rescued by Rugaz Rescue and brought to us. The pups have all found their forever home. Heidi is also heartworm positive, and had shots in the middle of June. She is available for adoption now through Rugaz Rescue. Working with Heidi for the CGC, May 5
On May 5, I started working more with Heidi on items that are required for her Canine Good Citizen evaluation. There are ten steps that a dog must complete to be CGC certified (from the AKC):
